Early on in your career
Ivan began his career as a member of the Croatian football club Hajduk Split’s youth team. He remains a member of the club until 2006. In the 2008-09 season, he made his competitive debut in an opening match against NK Zadar at Poljud Stadium. He features in 17 games in the domestic league.
