    American actress Lizzy Caplan is best known for her parts in the movies “Mean Girls” and “Cloverfield.” Her work as “Virginia E. Johnson” in the television series “Masters of Sex” is also well recognized.

    She was raised in the Miracle Mile neighborhood after being born in Los Angeles. She had a strong desire for theatre as a young kid and followed an acting career after college.

    Later, Lizzy Caplan made appearances in a number of programs and music videos, including Jason Mraz’s “You and I Both.” Her first TV movie, “From Where I Sit,” in which she played “Lily,” was released in 2000. The movie had its television debut.

    She made an appearance in an episode of the TV show “Smallville” in 2001, then she returned in the same episode in 2003. She also had an appearance in the 2001 episode “Tough Love” of the TV show “Once and Again.”

    Lizzy Caplan starred in the drama movie “Love Is the Drug” in 2006. Her work in the film received high praise. She appeared in the CBS comedy “The Class” the same year as a member of the cast.

    She also played “Agent Lacey” in the military comedy “The Interview” in 2014. She appeared in “The Night Before” in 2015. She appeared in films like “Now You See Me 2” and “Allied” the following year.

    She had an appearance in the science fiction thriller movie “Extinction” in 2018. She played “Annie Wilkes” in the 2019 psychological horror anthology online television series “Castle Rock.”
