Mexican actress and singer Maite Perroni is well-known. She received her education at Centro de Educación Artistic and launched her acting career in the hit television series “Rebelde,” playing Guadalupe “Lupita” Fernández.
She began her musical career simultaneously with RBD, one of today’s most well-known Latin pop bands.
Maite Perroni’s Date of Birth and Parents
On March 9, 1983, Maite Perroni Beorlegui was born in Mexico City. At the time of her birth, her father, Javier Perroni, was working on a temporary assignment in Mexico City. Maite Beorlegui was the name of her mother.
Maite, who has two younger brothers called Adolfo and Francisco, was born the oldest of her parents’ three children. Adolfo is three years her junior, and Francisco is nine years his junior.
At eleven months old, Maite, popularly known as Mai, had her father relocated to Guadalajara, the state capital of Jalisco in Mexico. They stayed there for twelve years before moving back to Mexico City.
Maite’s upbringing was typical, and she spent it with her brothers. She was a highly obedient, responsible, and charming girl, but she also had a restless edge.
She once borrowed her father’s automobile without his permission when she was eleven years old and went on a trip with her brother.

She loved history and was romantic, but she disliked science. She showed a talent for acting, dancing, and singing even at a young age and often participated in school productions.
Maite Perroni’s Career
She made many TV ads and a few music videos when she was younger. She also took part in a Disney Channel program as a dancer. She had already decided to become an actress by the time she graduated from high school.
With the Mexican telenovela “Rebelde,” created by Televisa, Maite Perroni made her acting debut. She played one of the six protagonists, Guadalupe “Lupita” Fernández, a teenager from a working-class family attending the fictional Elite Way School.
The popular Argentinean novela “Rebelde Way” was the inspiration for the hit television series “Rebelde,” which ran for three seasons and 440 episodes. The first episode debuted in 2004, and the last was telecast in June 2006.
Perroni and a select group of the cast members published the CD “Rebelde” on November 30, 2004, just before the film’s debut. Due to its popularity, the musical group RBD (short for “Rebelde”) was created.
RBD became a legal person on October 30, 2004. They eventually rose to fame as one of the most popular Latin pop acts, selling millions of records worldwide. They also completed many international tours.
Her next project, “RBD: La family,” in which she played May, was made possible by RBD’s popularity. The first episode debuted on March 14, 2007, and the production was finished by the first quarter of 2007. Only thirteen episodes totaled its run, which ended on June 13th, 2007.
She wrote the song “Tal Vez Maana” for RBD’s fifth studio album, “Empezar Desde Cero,” which was released on November 20, 2007, simultaneously in Mexico and the United States. On the album’s first single, she also performed alone.
In the 2008 film “Cuidado con el ángel” (Don’t Mess with an Angel), she played the lead character Mara de Jesus and sang three songs for her character, including “Esta Soledad,” “Separada De Ti,” and “Contigo.” She became a well-known actress as a result of the program.
She started on her fifth and last global tour with RBD in 2008 as well. The “Gira Del Adiós” tour, which included a number of South and North American cities, ran from November 1 to December 21. Shortly after that, RBD was dissolved.
“Mi Pecado” (also known as “Burden of Guilt”) was her next television endeavor. She sang the opening song, “Mi Pecado,” for it and played Lucrecia Córdoba Pedraza de Huerta, the main character, in it.
The program premiered on June 15, 2009, and ended on November 13, 2009, after 110 episodes.
She appeared in the third season’s sixth episode of “Mujeres asesinas” in 2010. The same year, Perroni started on her first solo tour, the “Maite Perroni Brazilian Tour 2010,” and released her song “No Vuelvas.”
She also acted as Mara Desamparada / Mara Iturbide Gutiérrez in the 2010 film “Triunfo del amor,” for which she recorded the song “A Partir De Hoy” with Marco di Mauro. The 176-episode television series began broadcasting on October 25, 2010, and it ended on June 26, 2011.
Beginning in April 2012, “Cachito de Cielo” (also known as “Sent from Heaven”), Perroni’s next telenovela, was put into production. She just released the tune “Te daré mi corazón.”
In the show, the number was used. She made her cinematic debut in 2012 in “El arribo de Conrado Sierra,” playing the role of Ninfa.
‘Cachito de Cielo,’ which had been first launched on June 11 but was problematic due to religious reasons, stopped on November 9 as a result. When it was shown the next year, Perroni, as Renata Landeros De Franco, earned a standing ovation.
In order to prepare for the production of her solo album, “Eclipse de Luna,” Perroni relocated to New York in February 2013. She posted the first song’s lyric video, “Tu y Yo,” on her own YouTube account on July 16, 2013. On August 23, 2013, the album was officially released.
2014 saw Perroni’s comeback to television with “La Gata” (also known as “The Stray Cat”). She received several nominations for her portrayal of Esmeralda alongside Daniel Arenas.
One of her tracks, a bachata song titled “Vas A Querer Volver,” was also included in the “La Gata.” The song and the drama both made their appearances in May 2014. She released a duet with Alex Ubago in June. Its name is “Todo lo que soy,” and it was also used in “La Gata.”
September 2015, In “Antes muerta que Lichita” ( “Anything but Plain”), Perroni played Alicia Gutiérrez López/Lichita in her sixth main role. It debuted on August 24, 2015, and ran for 131 episodes, ending on February 21, 2016.
Adicta, Perroni’s first song, was published on July 14, 2016, and she sang it at the Premios Juventud 2016 (Youth Award), which was held the same day. She started her second global tour that year. The ‘Maite Perroni Tour LOVE’ tour got underway in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on July 17.
She performed in Sao Paulo in 2016, followed by tours in Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro, New York, and Guayaquil. She continued to perform throughout 2017, twice in Mexico City as well as at Irapuato, Comitan, and Guadalajara.
She also had an appearance in the comedic telenovela “Papá a toda madre” in 2017 as Renée Sánchez Moreno.
She began her tour on February 22, 2018, and visited Mexico City once again to give a concert at the National Auditorium.
On March 21, 2018, she performed at the Spring Festival in Monterrey, Mexico, bringing the tour to an end. Her second album is presently being worked on.
