The way we habitually think of our surroundings and ourselves create the worlds that each of us inhabit. Change your thought and change your life.

Everything we do on a regular basis affects our destination. For eg. If you joined Gym then you will be healthy and over time you will grow your muscles. Let’s assume that, after you have a fit body and bigger muscles, you were approached and signed by a modeling agency and later you became a fitness model.

It became only possible because you started to do exercise on a daily basis. Let’s just say that you created your own destiny. Others might say you were lucky, but you got lucky after you started and continued to work out on a daily basis.

On the other hand, if you smoke regularly, and after say 30 years you are diagnosed with lung cancer. You can’t say that you suffered from lung cancer because you were destined. Clearly, here the cause is smoking. You created your own unfortunate destiny because you started smoking in the first place.

The most important ingredient in creating belief is change. And that one of the most important methods for creating that belief is habits. Habits are what allow us to “do a thing with difficulty the first time, but soon do it more and more easily, and finally, with sufficient practice, do it semi-mechanically, or with hardly any consciousness at all.”

Once we choose who we want to be, people grow “to the way in which they have been exercised, just as a sheet of paper or a coat, once creased or folded, tends to fall forever afterward into the same identical folds.”

If you believe you can change—if you make it a habit—the change becomes real. This is the real power of habit: the insight that your habits are what you choose them to be. Once that choice occurs—and becomes automatic—it’s not only real, it starts to seem inevitable, the thing, that bears “us irresistibly toward our destiny, whatever the end may be.”

We can all endure disaster and tragedy and triumph over them-if we have to. We may not think we can, but we have surprisingly strong inner resources that will see us through if we will only make use of them. We are stronger than we think.

We should calmly analyse our past mistakes and profit by them. Problems are the goldmines. Eg. While crossing a  river suppose the bridge is broken. The other way of crossing the bridge is difficult. If you take the other way you discover new route to your destiny. On the other hand if you don’t take the route you won’t cross the river. You remain in the same place.

The point here is that, in life there will be several challanges and problems now and agian. Instead of avoiding if you try learn from the problem and have a growth mindset then, the problem becomes the steps towards your success. One day you will fail to solve the problem. Persist little more and the next day you may discover different ways to solve problems.

Problems are like learning to ride for the first time. You have fear of falling and you will fall several times before finally learning how to ride. Once you have learned to ride, overtime you will be able to ride without putting hands on the bicycle handle.

The same is with other problems. If you are stuck in a problem and persist you will find new ways to solve the problem, learning new things, making yourself better and wiser in the process.

    Are defeats necessary in Life?

Well, necessary or not, they happen. When we first begin fighting for our dream, we have no experience and make many mistakes. The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times. It’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.

Do what you fear and you will be strong and free. You have to be patient in your good times as well as in your bad times. So, cultivate the habit of patience.

Be Careful what you believe in. Each time you repeat the words the emotional value becomes greater. Reject your sense of injury and the injury itself disappears. A mind that tries to seek pleasure and comfort and the easy way inadvertently poisons its dreams.

Do not indulge in dreams of having what you have not, but reckon up the chief of the blessings you do possess, and then thankfully remember how you would crave for them if they were not yours.

The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts. When you progress slowly then you learn a lot and can avoid major problems and recover quickly if in case the progress you are making is in the wrong direction.

Why less is more and more is less?

If you put half teaspoon of honey with half cut lemon and pour half cup of hot water then it tastes very sweet. On the other hand if you pour full cup of water on the same composition of honey and lemon then it doesn’t taste that sweet.

Learning slowly is the only way to learn faster. Those who stand on tiptoes do not stand firmly. Those who rush ahead don’t get very far. Those who try to outshine others dim their own light.

Similarly, five colors blind the eye, five notes blind the ear, five flavours make the palate go stale.

“If you have what seems to you insufficient,” said one of Rome’s greatest philosophers, Seneca, “then you will be miserable even if you possess the world.”

“Through disciplined, controlled, and directed imagination, you can be a companion of the most scientific and inspired thinkers of all time.”

Good times creates weak people, Tough times create strong people. Strong people create good times and weak people give you tough time. That’s the irony of life.

And lastly keep in kind that “There is no true success without peace of mind. ”
