Nihita Biswas is a Nepali advocate best known for being the wife of the famous French serial killer Charles Sobhraj. Charles is serving a life sentence in the central jail of Kathmandu for murdering an American national in Nepal in 1975.
In 2011, Nihita participated in the Indian reality TV show Big Boss Season 5. She was in the headlines when she was a participant in Big Boss. She has been in the fame because of her husband who has been sentenced to prison for his lifetime.

Nihitas father was a Bengali businessman from Kolkata whereas her mother Shakuntala Thapa is a lawyer and human rights activist who is famous for representing Charles Sobhraj’s case in the supreme court of Nepal.

Nihita Biswas’s husband
In 2008, at age 64 Charles Sobhraj and at age 20 Nihita Biswas married inside Kathmandu prison. Nihitas’s mother was a lawyer for Sobhraj’s murder case but they apparently fell in love after visiting him when he needed a translator as she knew the French language.
She is well known for being the second wife of French serial killer Charles Sobhraj. There is no information on whether they are divorced or still with each other.
Nihita Biswa’s Controversy
In 2010 both Nihita and her mother were accused by the supreme court after they made corruption allegations against the judiciary by saying that the top court had taken incentive on her husband’s case where they deliver an impartial decision.
They were arrested and kept in prison for 24 hours after their shameful remarks on judges of the supreme court
Apart from that, Nihitas’s relationship and marriage with Charles got more attention as people were accusing her that she married him because of fame and money as their age difference is 44 years old.

Nihita Biswas’s fame rise after her marriage to a french serial killer, theft Charles Sobhraj. She gained more attention and fame after her appearance on the reality show Bigg boss 5, 2011 on Indian television color.
She was also the first Nepali contestant in the show. But Biswas’s tv presence didn’t last long as she was evicted in the first round. Since then she was away from the media’s attention.
Additionally, she stated that her husband Charles convinced her to give Bigg boss a chance for exposure. She was also dragged into a controversial interview with Mandeep Belvi where he asked about her sex life with Charles Sobhraj.
Nikitas’s mother was angry and shocked after hearing such a question from Mandeep on national television. Later, Nihita mentioned that Mandeep realized his mistake and apologized to her.
