    Pom Klementieff began her acting career in France, where she studied theater at the Cours Florent drama school in Paris. She made her debut in the 2007 French film “Après lui” (After Him) and went on to appear in several French productions, including “Loup” (2009) and “Sleepless Night” (2011).

    In 2013, Klementieff gained international attention when she was cast as Mantis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” (2017). Her portrayal of the empathic and naive Mantis was well-received by both critics and audiences. She reprised her role in subsequent MCU films, including “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018) and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019).

    As a result of her success in the MCU, Klementieff went on to star in a number of noteworthy movies, including the sci-fi thriller “Ingrid Goes West” (2017) and the action comedy “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” (2018), where she played an assassin named Pompidou.

    Her American cinematic debut was in Oldboy (2013). She also appeared in Striking Vipers, the first episode of the fifth season of the anthology series Black Mirror, in 2019.

    Klementieff’s career continued to flourish, and in 2020, she joined the cast of the Netflix series “Black Mirror” in the episode titled “Striking Vipers.” Her performance received praise for its emotional depth and complexity.
