    The Cincinnati Reds claimed Robel off waivers on July 26, 2020, but he did not appear in a game for them that year. After the 2020 season, he played for the Aguilas Cibaenas of the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) and for the Dominican Republic in the 2021 Caribbean Series. Garcia was claimed off waivers by the New York Mets on October 26, 2020, and was designated for assignment on February 1, 2021, after the Mets acquired Jordan Yamamoto. The Los Angeles Angels acquired Robel off waivers on February 3, 2021, then designated him for assignment when the Angels claimed Jack Mayfield on February 25, 2021.
