In 2002, Jeong first met her physician husband when both were employees of Kaiser Permanente in West California.

    Tran Jeong’s Cancer Treatment

The physicians who treated Tran Jeong informed her that she had stage three negative breast cancer in 2008, almost a year after the birth of their children.

Her first thoughts were to her kids. She was worried about what would occur to them if she died. Their lives were completely affected by the news.

People sometimes overlook how such news affects the family members and friends who provide care, despite how terrible it is for the patients. Tran’s spouse was the one who made the required sacrifices on her behalf.

Ken was cast in the part of Leslie Chow in the first Hangover movie when she was through chemotherapy. At first, he refused to take the position.

He has been involved in the business since he made his acting debut in The Big Easy in 1997. Leslie Chow, though, would end up being his breakout performance.

Ken improvised Vietnamese words or phrases to his Korean character’s lines as it was being filmed. Ken, who is Korean himself, and Tran used the hilarious stunts of the character as therapy.

He enhanced his character’s dialogue with terms and expressions that were “internal jokes” between him and Tran.

Even Todd Phillips, the movie’s director, was unaware of this. Ken referred to them as “a strange love letter to his wife in a dirty movie” in an interview with ABC News.

In the following months, Tran Jeong had to undergo 16 rounds of chemotherapy, one mastectomy, and radiation treatment. Her physicians informed her that she was cancer-free in October 2010.

Her physician also warned her that her cancer may come back in two years. At the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, when he received the Best WTF Moment Award for The Hangover, Ken celebrated his wife’s recovery. Ken’s experience has motivated him to actively support cancer-related causes.

He backs the Stand Up to Cancer campaign and often writes on social media about helping people with cancer, including his wife. On February 18, 2017, Ken acknowledged Tran’s eight years of cancer-free living in a tweet.

    Tran Jeong’s Net Worth

Both the wife, who is 47 years old, and the husband are physicians. Tran works as a family physician.

Her income comes from her employment as a medical professional, which contributes to her net worth. Both Tran and her husband are doctors, and according to Glassdoor, a physician makes an average yearly income of $246,291.

Her spouse has a net worth of almost $14 million as of 2022, including the doctor. In addition to The Hangover, Crazy made Asians, and Community, Ken has made public information about his upcoming stand-up comedy on Netflix, which was discovered at The Ice House Comedy Club in the city of California.

    More About Tran Jeong

Her Vietnamese parents brought her up in America where she was born. Tran works as a family physician.

While employed at Kaiser Permanente in West California in 2002, Ken Jeong and Tran got to know one another. Twin girls are blessed by the couple.

She is of Vietnamese background and is a citizen of the United States. Her physicians indicated her cancer-free in October 2010.

At the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, where he received the Best WTF Moment Award, Ken celebrated the improvement of her wife.
