    Tyler Bertuzzi is a versatile Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays for the National Hockey League’s Detroit Red Wings (NHL).

    He is most known for being the 58th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings. He made his NHL debut in 2015 after previously playing in the OHL for the Guelph Storm. After being picked to Team Canada’s roster for the 2019 IIHF World Championship in Slovakia, he was selected to make his international debut on April 29th, 2019. Bertuzzi also signed a two-year contract extension with the Red Wings, which will expire on July 31, 2021.

In his second AHL game, again against the Lake Erie Monsters, he scored his first professional goal against Calvin Pickard. On November 7, 2016, he was recalled by the Detroit Red Wings and made his NHL debut the following day against the Philadelphia Flyers. Bertuzzi scored 12 goals and added 25 assists in 48 games during the 2016-2017 regular season, as well as nine goals and ten assists in 19 games during the 2017 Calder Cup playoffs.
