Cameron Jibril Thomaz, better known as Wiz Khalifa, is a well-known professional American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. In 2006, he published “Show and Prove,” his first album, and he also signed with Warner Bros. In November of 2009, he severed ways with Warner Bros. and released his second album, Deal or No Deal. Wiz Khalifa was born on September 8, 1987, in Atlanta, Georgia. Cameron Jibril Thomaz is his full name. Lawrence Thomaz is his father’s name, and Peacie Wimbush is his mother’s. Prince of the City: Welcome to Pitstolvania, khalifa’s debut mix tape, was released in 2005. As a result, he was able to release the album “Show and Prove” in 2006.
He secured a deal with Warner Bros. in 2007. His two mix tapes, Grow Season and Prince of the City 2, were released by Rostrum Records on July 4, 2007 and November 20, 2007, respectively. This song was his Warner Bros. debut, “Say Yeah.”
In July 2009, he broke ways with Warner Bros. and performed in Pittsburgh with Girl Talk, Modey Lemon, and others. Then in the year 2009, on November 24th, he released his second album, “Deal or No Deal.”

In the United States, his latest album “Rolling Papers” was released on March 29, 2011. On June 26, 2011, Khalifa was nominated for and won the BET Award for Best New Artist. Khalifa said on April 11, 2012 that his second studio album, “Only Nigga in First Class,” would be released, but that it would be shortened as O.N.I.F.C. for mainstream markets. Then, with 131,000 first-week sales, O.N.I.F.C. debuted at number two.
On September 3, 2013, Khalifa confirmed that he has recorded tracks for Blacc Hollywood alongside Miley Cyrus and Juicy J. Wiz Khalifa released the first song from Blacc Hollywood, “We Dem Boyz,” on February 11, 2014, and an EP with Taylor Gangs, “Talk About It In The Morning,” on March 31, 2015. In the same month, Khalifa released “See You Again,” a memorial to Paul Walker, who died while shooting Furious 7 in March 2015, and which spent 12 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
Wiz then revealed that his second album, named Khalifa, will be released on January 22nd. The album, however, was released on February 5, 2016. He released “Pull Up,” a song in support of his forthcoming album Rolling Papers 2, on May 24, 2016. On July 13, 2018, the album will be released.

In 2011, he was nominated for Sprint New Artist of the Year, and in 2015, he was nominated for Song of the Year and Collaboration of the Year for his song “See You Again.” In 2016, he won the Top Hot 100 Song and Top Rap Song awards. He was named Best New Artist in 2011. He also won Top New Artist the following year.

Khalifa began dating Amber Rose, a model, in early 2011. They later became engaged on March 1, 2012, and married on July 8, 2013. Sebastian was their son’s name. Then, on September 24, 2013, it was revealed that Rose was divorcing her husband. They had joint custody of their son as of 2015.
Khalifa then began practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Rigan Machado, an 8th degree red and black belt, in May 2017.
