    A well-known Chinese actress and model are Zhang Ziyi. She has acted in the movies “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” “The Road Home,” “Musa,” “My Wife is a Gangster 2,” “Jasmine Women,” “Love for Life,” “My Lucky Star,” and “The Wasted Times,” and is regarded as one of the “Four Dan” (most bankable) actresses in the nation.

    In addition, Ziyi is recognized for her roles in the films Hero, Rush Hour 2, The Banquet, and House of Flying Daggers.

    Her most well-regarded film, “The Grandmaster,” collected her 12 Best Actress nominations, making her the actress with the most nominations for a single Chinese film.

    Ziyi received praise for her work in the movie “Memoirs of a Geisha,” which also brought her a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.

    From 2004 through 2010, the Chinese beauty, who serves as an ambassador for organizations and brands such as Omega Watches, Visa, Maybelline, and Garnier, was ranked in the top five on Forbes’ “Celebrity 100 list.”

    The actress appeared in the 2001 American film “Rush Hour 2” shortly after. She made appearances in “The Legend of Zu” and “Musa” the same year.

    Then, in 2002, Zhang appeared opposite Tony Leung in the movie “Hero.” This movie was a great hit and received nominations for both the Golden Globe and Oscar awards.

    The Chinese beauty made an appearance in the follow-up to “My Wife is a Gangster” the following year. Her role in the romantic drama movie 2046 came next. Then Zhang appeared in the movies “Jasmine Women” and “House of Flying Daggers.”

    She will appear in the upcoming science fiction thriller movie “God Particle” in 2018.
